My children ask me to read this book to them time and time again. I keep plenty on hand to give as baby gifts, too. Both the author and illustrator are married to coaches, and as a coach's wife myself, I appreciate their enthusiasm, talent and wisdom.

The simple eloquence of Stoutland's book puts into text some universal truths. Her rendition of life's lessons is extremely perceptive. The book is a wonderful gift book to share with special people on momentous occasions or for no reason at all! The illustrations are a thoughtful representation of each lesson. They just make you smile-inside and out! This book will be a classic.
