New edition please

This is a great book and I do recommend it; however I highly recommend Lapinski's other book, Solving Elk Problems. This book is outdated, he really needs to create a 2nd edition to this book rather than hanging onto sales from this outdated version, I think that would be quite valuable. That aside, I did learn valuable strategies for hunting elk. I am one whom he refers to as an experienced deer hunter who misapplies deer hunting strategies while elk hunting. Maybe with my newly found tactics I will be able to locate and bring elk in more successfully this season.

another perspective

A good read for those not familiar with the vastness of the western mountains. Mostly deals with bow hunting.I welcome any information on elk.The more you know the better it gets!!

Great advice for hunting elk with a bow

I've been hunting elk for 43 years, but only started bow hunting about 10 years ago. This book contains tips and strategies that the author learned through many, many years of experience; he knows what he is talking about. These methods work. I highly recommend this book to any bow hunter who wants to have a higher success rate.
