Although this is my first attempt at publishing poetry, I will say that I have been in the poetic field for some time now. I have been writing poems for almost 30 years now. Within this book of poems you'll find a multitude of poems from different genres. As you journey through the mind of the inspiring artist you will soon come to appreciate the clever expressions given from the author to please audiences across all ages. These short poems are coming from an individual with a background in which the average person(s) would not expect writes poetry. My hopes is that you appreciate my attempt and enjoy these 18 short poems. I cannot express enough that these works are only an attempt at becoming a well rounded poet. Although I have had multiple people appreciate my works my honest believe is that I need more practice. Doesn't necessarily mean I am not good but if I want to be apart of the elite class of poets, then dedication and commitment is essential to this process. Underway with the process, I give you my first attempt at a publish poetry author. P.S This book is considered a short read. I beg of you the reader to start from beginning to end as I have tried to become clever as a poet. There's a treat!!!!!
