Fun Story Line: Love the People in the book. The book is well thought out. She researches her area where Harry lives. The animals are so fun to hear from. They really help make the story.I hope she keeps on writing for a long time.I am looking forward to more of her books. Keep On Writing Rita Mae!!! I Love Your Books Michele of Grayling, Michigan.

So glad to see Mrs. Murphy and all her friends back in action again! This is one of the best in the series! Great description of the saddlebred show world and fun characters. I treasure each and every one of Rita Mae Brown's Mrs. Murphy/Tucker/Pewter books. They are wonderful and the illustrations are always such a PLUS!

Once again Harri takes Mrs. Murphy, Pewter, Tucker and the reader through their paces. The new setting was interesting but I have to admit missing the Crozet Post Office. I also hope the church cats of Crozet return in some upcoming issue. They and Amanda added much to the earlier books. The thrill of the race and Miss Nasty supply both drama and humor to Puss'n Cahoots. If you like the animals you will once again appreciate Rita Mae Brown's writing! Shirley D. Jordan
Best Mrs. Murphy yet....one of the Best Mysteries ever

Rita Mae Brown (and Sneaky pie Brown) have outdone themselves yet again. This book takes place in Kentucky...at the big Shelbyville Saddlebred Horse Show. Tucker, Mrs. Murphy, Pewter, and of course Fair and harry, are there for a 'vacation' and to visit their friends. Soon they find themselves on the trail of a killer, a bomber, a horse thief, and a shifty monkey...the aptly named Miss Nasty. This book is NOT to be missed!!! It is not as boring as Sour Puss... and it will leave you guessing till the last page. I read it in ONE sitting!
