Psychology by Robert A. Baron

Actually I find the authors "anecdotes" and self-incorporation in the text to be more like following a classroom professor who doesn't mind warming up the class with personal experiences used as examples. I like the Baron texts SO much better than the cold author's books used in my classes that make reading very dull. Baron absolutely has my following and makes for an interesting read indeed!

This textbook is a broad introduction to the various lines of research and theory comprising the modern field of psychology. Besides being readable, the novel approach to study exercises, such as "Interactivities," (Exercises relating to the Internet) make the text a valuable resource.
