It is quite interesting. It helped students realize the difficulties and the facts of life. It gives the chance to learn about cultures and what kind of problems they confront in the States. The language was perfect so we enjoyed talking about the stories in class bringing out what we thought about the events, characters, plot.It was at times possible to find something related to us in those stories. The questions and activities that followed were perfect. The pre-reading section was superb as it prepared us to th story and we had to guess what we were to read. Reading classes became a joy with this book. These are what the students wrote to be posted to Brenda Dyer. I as the instructor of the course would like to congratulate the writer for comiling such a good edition to be used in Reading classes.
