This superb little book is invaluable if you are looking for a deeper understanding of art therapy and how it works. Levine deftly juxtaposes ideas from Freud, Winnicott and Heidegger in the first half of the book to weave a compelling argument for how the imagination effects healing and integration in art therapy. The rest of the book is just as interesting and thought provoking. Highly recommended.
