Fodors in Focus Savannah and Charleston

Overall a good book for the money. Easy to slip in to a purse or backpocket and take with you. The descriptions are short, so if you are looking for more about the history, detail, and charm of the area go with the Moon Charleston and Savannah book.
A useful little pocket book

I found this a really useful little pocket book, crammed with helpful information and just enough historical detail to start with. I'd have liked just a few photos in the book to give a flavor of what can be seen. Combining closely-located Savannah and Charleston into one pocket guide is a good idea.
WHERE'S THAT SWEET TEA

Having been to both gracious cities this pocket size book would have been very useful. It has nine maps each showing landmarks, dining, lodging, shopping, side trips etc., which are described as in any larger Fodor's travel book. I like the fact it's condensed and the maps leave little to doubt for getting around. From someone who travels a great deal, forget the larger book and take this.
Excellent Guide

I recently went to both Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. I found the guide very useful with lots of valuable information to offer.
