As a former NY State Paramedic, I found this book to be very realistic. It reminded me of the many routine calls that I had been on as well as the reality of the tragic calls. This book pictures Paramedics as real people with real feelings. It lets the reader know that even behind the walls we build to sheild ourselves from our feelings, a Paramedic is a real person.

I have worked in critical care for close to Ten years and have been an Advanced Life Support,Pediatric Life Support and Emergency Nursing Pediatric transport nurse/EMT I for Brook's Ambulance, Inc.
