This is our grand-daughter's favorite book! (And, she has lots of good books.) It's also my favorite for us to "read" together. I read the words and she "reads" the pictures. The stories are well written in age appropriate descriptions. I have given countless copies of this book as baby gifts. I highly recommend it.
She may be my mom, but. . .

My mom, Tracy Harrast, has published almost 40 books; but this has to be, by far my favorite. The illustrations are awsome, the stories are well-worded, and the book is colorful. She tests all of her books on me and my sibblings, even though I am 15, and my brother and sister are 10, and 12. I highly recommend this book for kids who love colorful pictures, and adults who want to give their kids good values.

We purchased this book for our newborn son. When we started to read it we found the stories to be apt for both children and adults. The use of pictures to replace key words is an outstanding way to help children read. Two thumbs up.
Very easy to understand format for young readers.
