This logically organized manual is intended for use in a two-semester introductory physics course, either calculus- or algebra/trigonometry-based, and may be used in conjunction with any physics text. Each experiment develops the students' intuitive abilities in physics. Most labs (35 out of 45) give students hands-on experience with statistical analysis.
I used this book for a Physics course last semester. I found the book to be somewhat ambigous when explaining things such as significant digits. A few more examples could have been used. However, the book fulfills it's purpose. When used in conjunction with labs, the excercises in the book give a student the experience he/she needs to understand the way a scientist must go about collecting data.
