Excellent introduction to IC design

This book does a great job of taking designers through the steps to tape-out for fabrication, and provides lots of helpful details on L-Edit usage. Several members of our design group also learned L-Edit in school, and we still use it now for its PC platform flexibilty. The learning curve is shallow and it's a great option even though Cadence and other tools are available.

very good book to learn realy IC design

A good book. I'm professor and IC designer. To me the realknowledge comes from many small details. With L-edit, you can learn more details and hints on how things go inside aCAD than a big system like Cadence.
