Perfect....

This book really does have great tips and advice on planning parties. I was excited to find that it included some recipes, photos and easy to follow instructions. I would recommend this book. I find it quite useful.

I am now a master party planner!

I really liked the mixed content of this book. Lots of party planning tips AND lots of recipes, and all felt young and fresh! After I bought Perfect Parties I've thrown three events at home and each time I've found lots of inspiration and ideas although the parties have all been very different from each other. It's a slam dunk, and a great book to have at home when you need that little extra help to throw a fab party. Linnea might be the next Martha Stewart!

Easy and Interesting

Im not a big creative party planner! But I love to have people at my house...This book has helped me with creatve inoovatve and most of all EASY tipa ad ideas how to have a fun different part! The language is good, and it is really easy to navigate throughout the book. Personally I love to have something look complcated but it is so easy to do! Kudos to authors!!

Perfect Parties was a perfect gift

Perfect Parties: Tips and Advice from a New York Party Planner My girlfriend is a big cook and likes to entertain so I bought her this book when I saw it prominently displayed at Barnes and Noble. She loves it and is going to use it for the holiday season. The thing I like about this book is that it gives interesting insight in party planning in addition to recipes and stuff. It's an all-inclusive guide with expert tips which is important nowadays since just about any recipe can be accessed online. Great idea.

Complete Party Book

I was advised to get this book from a friend when I complained about always freaking out when having to throw a party. I'm glad I bought it! 'Perfect Parties' is a fun read and tells you everything you want to know when cooking for and planning a party. It's packed with great party menus for different kind of parties and answers questions like how much food/drinks you will need for your guests, how to save time when prepping for a party (I love the "don't clean" tips!), creative invitations, goodie bags, and much more... I also find the"real life" stories from the red carpet to be a great read. When you see that party mishaps happens to even the most experienced event planner, you stop being so hard on yourself and can enjoy having friends and family over without stressing out all the time. 'Perfect Parties' gave me tons of great tips and recipes and helps me to relax when having people over.
