Amazing Foundation

This foundation is amazing. My 6 month old Australian Shepherd Lilly and I are going to be joining Penny's From Heaven! I can't wait to start making a difference in people's lives. I am a nurse as well. This is just one more thing I can do to help patients recover from their illness. These stories will truly touch your heart!!!

A Patient's Best Friend

Although Ms. Swendson talks of her dog, Penny, the stories are about the patients and his or her struggles to improve their quality of life at a particular moment in the healing process. The work that Penny has done in the hospitals is related to the reader with honesty and skill and has touched my heart as I am certain it will touch others.
