YA Author, Penelope farmer is related to a real-life little girl named Penelope Boothby who died at the age of 5. SmallPenelopes' stone can be seen at Ashbourne, England.And her portrait hangs in a museum at Oxford!Farmer has invented a character named Flora Penelope who feels an infinity with Penelope Boothby.

It made me think, most books don't have that power over me.

I enjoyed this book because it was based on a character that was my age (about thirteen). It was also scary the way the author put so much detail into the voices that were in the little girl's head. It makes me wonder if the author went through these experiences herself.
