R.T. Naylor demonstrates that economic warfare fails almost everywhere it is attempted, and that even when it succeeds, it has consequences that are not only unintended, but also frequently the precise opposite of their advertised result.
I have read many books in the same genre/field and none come close to this one. Some are too simplistic, some try to push unfounded "facts" on the reader, and some are simply too hard to read while staying awake.I was hesitant while considering this book with the knowledge that it was written by a college professor, but I can assure readers that although scholarly in terms of research and logic, it is not boring or hard to read. It is a highly informative and educational read on several subjects that would usually be too many to fit into the scope of a single book. However the author not only is able to intertwine all these related topics, he makes it almost as engaging as a good novel.I look forward to reading any of the author's future works.
