An adventurous read, highly recommended

The second book of the "Divine Gambit" trilogy by Chad Corrie, Path of Power continues the story of a group of mercenaries in a fantastic land. Heroine Cadrissa is held captive by The Master, a dark mage with ruthless plans, yet her captor is being used as a pawn as surely as she is. Complex mysteries and veiled power struggles lie at the core of this exciting fantasy adventure, in which wanderers amid a hostile magical world must battle external threats and internal weaknesses. An adventurous read, highly recommended.
