Much better than expected

I almost didn't buy this book because of the bad review given it by the other reviewer. (And because yet another publisher won't let me look inside the book to see what I'm buying - I just don't get this.) But I took a chance and I'm very pleased. I'd say there are a couple "duds" in the book, but there are at least 3-4 that I want to make immediately. And many of the others look like they could be winners with a different yarn choice. So perhaps that's the only warning I would give - the patterns are good if you're willing to experiment and substitute. Some people feel uncomfortable doing so - but even then, there are more nice patterns than goofy ones. Definitely worth buying the book for.
