A must read for prior drill instructors

Whether you love history or not, this book is a must read for drill instructors and recruits (prior/future). The art and science of recruit training conducted at Parris Island will always facinate me and to read and know how it has evolved over time is very interesting.

The book is an in depth look at the training facilities and great people that are associated with it. At times it is humorous ,yet the author lets you know it is serious . SEMPER FI !! Baerman.
