Pandemic Poet: The First Two Years

Book Overview

This book represents the culmination of the poetry that I have written over the last two years since the start of the pandemic in 2020. The book contains over 250 poems, some of which were extracted from my previous books, and over 50 new poems. I have arranged the poems in different categories to better reflect the nature of each poem. The first category includes a few poems about the pandemic which triggered the beginning of my poem writing. I have also included poems about my real-life experiences, childhood memories, nature, travel adventures, holidays, parodies and poems that tickle your imagination. Random thoughts include poems that did not fit into the other categories. Reflections includes poems of inspiration, memorial tributes to friends who have died and prayers. I have another grouping of poems about our retirement community here at Maris Grove in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. The book concludes with more poems about the pandemic. I am confident that you will find a few poems that you will enjoy reading.
