Pack Challenge

This book is the first in the Magnus Pack series and it tells of Zach and Sara's story. Sara has been working in a motorcyle shop all her life after her mean grandmother dies. Unbeknownist to her she is a shifter living in a shifter community except for her two best friends Miki and Angelina who are also clueless about their town. Sara was in an accident when she was little and walks with a limp; all of this happens before she reaches the age to shift and therefore it keeps her from being able to shift or heal her wounds. This accident also kills her parents and she goes to stay with her grandmother who resented the Magnus Pack for taking her daughter away and letting her get killed. So she keeps Sara away from them and threatens to kill any who come after Sara thus keeping her in the dark about her shifter status and community. When Zach rolls into town with his alpha all heck breaks lose and the next thing you know Sara is walking around without a limp(with some help from Zach), finds her mate, and fends off a pride of lions who are out to kill her. Shelly Laurenston has never disappointed me with her storyline, humor, or the suspense you can find in her shifter series and I can't wait till she writes more. Well done Shelly Laurenston please write more I am still waiting on Nikolai's brother story- you know the one that likes Zach's sister.

I loved it!!!

This book had a perfect combination of humor, romance, and action. And the love scenes were STEAMY! Zach and Sara were a great couple...not too mushy...but still loving. Sara was a great heroine. I also loved the supporting characters. I can't wait to read their stories. This was a great book!

Can't get enough of Shelly Laurenston!

Shelly Laurenston, in my opinion, is one of the best, if not THE best, erotica writer out there! Her ability to mix romance, humor & steamy sex is priceless! Pack Challenge is the hilarious story of Sara & Zach. Zach is a hunky alpha male shapeshifter, though he isn't the alpha of his pack...yet. Sara is a quirky, slightly psychotic (don't give her tequila!) woman who is also a shapeshifter...she just doesn't know it. Add in some great sidekicks, and you've got yourself one heck of a great story. The rest of this series (originally released as Magnus Heat & Here Kitty Kitty) are being re-released by Samhain Publishing in the future. And I, for one, am anxiously awaiting the release dates!!

Not your average shifter

The characters here are not your ususal shifters (don't say werewolf!), but down-home folks with edges and flaws. Although I will run, not walk, to the nearest store to get the latest Shelly Laurenston, this one remains my favorite. I laugh aloud everytime I read it (embarrassing when done in public). Put aside any preconceptions on what should happen in a novel about shifters and go with the flow. Can you really afford to pass up a book that has motorcycles, wolves, a conspiracy-theory geek with a shotgun, and the possibility of were-bunnies?

Texas Girls Rock

Okay, this is one of my all time favorite books. This is book one in the Magnus Pack Trilogy. I originally bought this as an e-book, and loved it show much I bought it in print(I am waiting for the last two to come out in print). This book is laugh out loud falling off the couch funny, and you get to watch a trio of friends find themselves and grow together, plus it has really hot shape shifters.
