Well, it's no secret that I'm a fan of Bill Adler's. Ever since I discovered Outwitting Squirrels and used it to keep my bird feeder free of those pesky critters, I've been recommending his stuff to friends and relatives. But I was pleasantly surprised to see he's branched out from how-to books about keeping animals at bay, to do this book, which is for people who actively want to get more of an animal -- namely, fish. Now, I've gone fishing a few times, but after reading this book I'm definitely going with a new attitude. Like his other books, this book is primarily about the fun of the activity. There's no doubt that we humans are capable of outwitting a fish, and this book, like any fishing book, shows you how -- but it also shows you how to have fun at the same time, and that's what I like about it. Great gift for anyone who's getting into fishing, too!
