I read this book and really enjoyed it. I decided to write a review for it because I didn't agree with the last one. The main character is Emma Symns , a woman who takes 27 orphan children from New York on a train out west to find families for them. While reading the book , you see glimpses of the different children's points of view and you get a idea of what America was like at that time. It is a Fiction book , so don't read it looking for facts and real stories. I really liked the story this book told and it got me interested in the real Orphan Trains of that time. :) Kiki
