This is a large print edition. The entire story is reprinted in this version at 16 point font for easy reading. Neal James is a space station navigator whose lover, Dylan Teague, left him for a starmapping mission. But when Dylan radios in a distant signal one night, Neal discovers that he hasn't managed to put the relationship behind him in the two months they've been apart. When he's one of the crew members sent to investigate the signal, he finds that his ex-lover feels the same. The source of the signal is a lost colony ship. Only a handful of the original colonists remain, survivors of a deadly disease that killed most of their fellow shipmates twenty years ago. When the same fatal virus seems to appear again, Neal and Dylan find themselves in the midst of an irrational panic and hate that threatens to destroy everything the colonists have worked so hard to attain.
I really enjoyed this book. It takes place in the future and is a bit of a thriller/mystery. There's a great love story and a lot of action. I finished it in one day as I couldn't wait to see what happened. I recommend it if you're looking for a good fun read for a long weekend.

I've been a fan of J.M. Snyder's for awhile, and I was so happy to hear that a book was being published! I absolutely loved it and look forward to the next!

The first published work for this author, and boy does she shine! As I read the book for the first time, I remember being apprehensive. Ms. Snyder, though an incredibly talented author, was for the first time using her talents to create an actual published work. Who knows what could've happend? So many authors finally get the chance to publish a work, and they are so concerned with making every little detail perfect, that they forget what it is that people want. Good story-telling. This, however, is not one of those authors. Ms. Snyder has impressivly told the tale of two men, in the future, and in love. I certainly hope this author publishes more work soon. Because if she didn't have me hooked before, she sure does now.
