Great Help

I picked up this book a while ago but only just now put it to heavy use. It's come in really handy now that I'm tending a flock of wedding thank-you notes! The book is well organized by note category: Gratitude (all the thank you note examples and hints you will ever need); Congratulations; Important Days; Love & Romance; Apology & Reconnection; Comfort & Cheer; Sympathy; and Business. A bit from the book's introduction best describes the authors' approach, "Each chapter takes a great note and breaks it down into little can-do steps. We walk you through each step with tips to inspire and guide you." For example, the Gratitude chapter is broken down into 5 sections: 6 Parts of a Thank-You Note; Thank-You Notes for Gifts; Thank-You Notes for Support & Acts of Kindness; Thank-You Notes for Social Events & Hospitality; and Sample Notes. The rest of the chapters follow the same basic structure. The best thing about using this book for writing a LOT of notes all at once is that once you develop a few phrases you can mix and match and re-use them. I composed my thank-yous in a Word document so that I could easily cut and paste phrases I wanted to re-use. After composing about 15 notes I had all the material I needed to create the other 95 or so. I highly recommend this book for any note-writing situation.
