Ohebe's Fantastic Geography is divided into three volumes, with twenty-six seemingly unrelated stories that are nonetheless connected when viewed in detail. The nine stories in the third volume, R-Z: From the Red River Basin to the Kingdom of Tizot, highlight the relationship between man and nature, confronting the conflict between the two. In the detailed illustrations, the vast landscapes are always contrasted with the smallest of men: men standing in front of a king who knows the language of the beasts, men wearing machines trying to conquer unexplored lands, men trying to photograph the ghosts of a cave in the moonlight, men trying to build a timing tool that is more accurate than the tides. ......
