It's not fair to say that trouble happens every time PJ Sugar is around, but it feels that way when she returns to her home town, looking for a fresh start. Within a week, her former teacher is... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Oh! My! Goodness! I LOVED this book! I haven't read one that I enjoyed so much in a long time. This was my first experience with Susan May Warren and I will definitely be looking for more of her books. I loved the humor. Loved the tension between Boone and PJ - and the complication added by Jeremy. Loved the way the author showed PJ's internal struggles and how she finally figured out that she didn't have to be someone else to be used of God. This is a great story! I highly recommend it. Five stars all the way!
It's a good, funny, honest read!

Susan May Warren has rapidly become one of my favorite Christian writters! Her newest being a PJ Sugar novel; Nothing but Trouble and it was a great read! This book had characters that I could relate to and situations that were realistic. What I also appreciated was that it had the twist and turns that didn't give the book the typical ending. I really am looking forward to the next book in the series!
Looking forward to seeing more of PJ Sugar!

Susan May Warren is one of my favorite authors--and she didn't disappoint me in her newest series, PJ Sugar: Nothing But Trouble. You've got to love a girl who throws her shoe at her fiance after he breaks up with her because she's not pastor's wife material. PJ is gutsy and funny and a loyal friend--well, after she stops avoiding her past mistakes. The story speaks to anyone who has run from their past--and is tired of running and wants to see if it's possible to go home again. PJ's also torn between a past love and a possible future one--and there's no telling which way it's going to go when you finish book #1. Many a girl has been in the same predicament, and will be eager to read the next installment of PJ Sugar to find out what happens.
Nothing But a Great Read

This book is right up my alley, with a fun, sassy female lead who still has her moments of introspection. Combine that with a summer vacation locale, a murder mystery, and a dash of romance and you have all the ingredients for a great read. What I loved in particular about this book was that in addition to the chick-lit attitude and the suspense, PJ Sugar has real issues to deal with. She has to come to terms with her past, her family, her reputation, and her inability to stick with anything. In other words, she's human and she's trying. Warren's writing is a perfect balance between fast-paced adventure and PJ's attempts to overcome her personal issues. I'm looking forward to seeing what trouble PJ gets into next. Not to mention the two men who have an interest in her.
Once again, not disapointed

I absolutely love Susan May Warren! She is one of the few authors whose books I will buy no matter what. Nothing But Trouble was another great read and, as usual, I finished it way too fast. I can't wait for the next one!
