Holly Hill loved her parents but couldn't live with them any longer. Once she'd found a new place to live, she began to thrive, not only in her job, but she improved her self-esteem also. The only thing missing in her life was the man she'd fallen in love with years earlier but knew she couldn't have as her own. So she settled on being the best she could at her job.

After being gone for years, Paddy O'Hara finally came home to spend a few weeks with his family and friends. To his utter surprise, the love of his life, the woman who got away, was there. He could spend some close time with her both at her ome and working on a case with her.
