Nikki Giovanni an Amazing Life

Ms. Josephson's book on Nikki Giovanni is written in prose style but her words have a poetic feel. The book is carefully reasearched, beautifully written and presented. Ms. Josephson tells interesting anecdotes in the course of writing about Ms. Nikki Giovanni's life -- this makes the book highly readable. The photos are excellent. Many of Ms. Giovanni's poems are included so the reader gets a complete picture of the true Nikki Giovanni. After reading this book, I became a fan of both Nikki Giovanni's poetry and Ms. Josephson's writing. BUY IT!
