We love Nicky!

We have some Nicky "lift-the-flap" books, and for some reason we just love this little cat. It's nice that this book is an early reader format. It's a simple story about Nicky playing upstairs and downstairs in his house. Not much of a story really, but my 6yo daughter loves it anyway.

Our child loves Nicky.

We don't know why, but there's something endearing about Nicky. Our three-year-old loves him and so do we -- even though we're not cat people. Although she's not yet reading for real, Nicky Upstairs and Down is one of her favorites for "reading" aloud to her stuffed animals now.
