Truthful and touching

If you are a fan of Garrison Keillor's Lake Wobegon stories, you will love Stan Purdum's tales of a pastor and his parishioners in rural Ohio. These stories of greasy but heroic mechanics, sin-haunted bachelors, panicky brides, and emotionally-damaged foster children are both truthful and touching. Whether you are a member of a congregation, or simply an experienced people-watcher, you will appreciate Purdum's ability to capture the humor, heartache, and hope that is found in communities everywhere.
