Don't navigate the blues alone. In this 90-day devotional, Katara Washington Patton openly shares her personal experience with the blues. She offers hope through practical steps and godly wisdom that have helped her and many others find freedom from worry, anxiety, and depression. Each day contains an easy-to-read devotion with Scripture, as Patton warmly reminds you that even Jesus suffered and overcame depressing times.
Washington - Patton is one of my favorite Christian authors. Our Father is a Waymaker God is the ultimate Navigator, even when a situation seems impossible. The devotions written in this book are for the worrier at heart and touch on topics like relationships and health. One of my favorite things about this devotional is the author talks about anxiety, depression and even grief but ties those emotions to Biblical stories. God will make a way, and He thrives on the impossible.
The devotions will take probably around 5 minutes to read, after the devotion completion there is a section called "My Confession" this is where you get a guided short sentence of reflection, afterwards you have "Progress, Not Perfection" this area is for personal reflection and prayer. I absolutely loved this book so much I shared it with a co-worker who purchased a copy.
Navigating the Blues was a really good devotional and in exchange for my honest and thoughtful review I received an Advanced Readers copy via Netgalley.
