WHOOPS! THE COVERS HARDLY EVER MATCH ------

But wasn't the cover in line with Will meeting Sam in the dress she split going over the fence? Gotta admit the cover guy sure doesn't look to be going on 36. Dazzled by a Kiss! Will suddenly knows that Samantha embodies his image of a wife for him. That is until he finds out she is a P.I. - yup! he figures she would never be at home to raised his kids. Too Dangerous a life for a female. Sam is still carrying a "thing" for Lucas O'Brien and his son Zack. Zack should have been hers and Lucas's son. Boy was she lucky she missed that boat. Now Lucas is missing and Zack has been kidnapped. Then Will shows up on her stake out. And he refuses to leave until he can solve her mystery. He is astounded that she could kiss him [again] and handcuff him to her car as she takes down the kidnappers and grabs Zack. Now the hunt and danger escalates for the 5 game discs that Lucas mailed out to 5 different people. Cassie Clark O'Brien, Zack's natural mother wants Sam to find the child. The rotten thing was that Cassie had been friends with Sam in college and had tricked Lucas into marrying her claiming she was pregnant. Will has decided to go with Sam on her hunt, to maybe protect her, and also he and Zack seemed to bond. Will even gets to meet Sam's cousin, Charley, the cop and his wife. Great fast paced story - excellent plot - great characters - a bit of blood - I really loved the eye-opener at the end. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED --m - Don't tell me, they did the "wild thing". Oh, mercy me! [grin]

Great book!

This was a great book. But what is up with the last reviewer? Doesn't she know authors have no say in the cover art? Also, once again like the other reviewer stated mystery and bride DID have relevence in this story. Are these ladies even reading these books? Or just skimming? Plus don't most romances have the man saving the woman? I question if these are even romance readers!!

Excellent, fast paced romantic suspense!

First of all, I hate to contradict the other reviewer, but the hero, Will calls Samantha a "mystery" and he is looking for a bride and knows Samantha is the one, hence the title Mystery Bride. Other reviewer was not paying close attention! Shame on you!! This is a great, fast paced , exciting book. The action never stops, the characters lovable (especially the young boy) and the heroine Samantha kick-*ss!! I read this in one sitting. Highly recommended if you love romantic suspense like I do!
