My Depth

This is a collection of short verses I placed on images that I took mostly between 2013 and 2014. The images are obviously a reflection of my environment and the words represent my thoughts at certain points along the timeline. We all are faced with challenges at some point in our lives. Some of us have support systems to help us while others have to find the strength within themselves. Sadly enough, some of us don't make it out of the depth of darkness. I was in a dark hotel room when I got the news that my mother had suddenly passed. That moment, I experienced a weakness I had never known existed. I had to take the journey to bury my mother to understand and process the meaning of our existence in order to move on.
