Excellent Mysteries

This was an excellent collection of mystery stories. Several of them, despite the occurrence of murder and detection, can be classified as cozy mysteries, thanks to the protagonist's witty narrative voice and freshness. There were two Holmesian pastiches done neatly, in different styles. There was an especially prescient story of crime and punishment which seems to have become even more relevant after the passage of almost two and a half decades. Loved the tales. Should have read more works of this author. In the meanwhile, this collection is highly recommended.
