Having just celebrated her 30th birthday, Anna Allstone is feeling high and dry on the shelf. Even worse, she has to face the prospect of attending a school reunion hosted by the ex-school bully, to... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I have to say this is the funniest book I've read all year. The stunts that Anna Allstone pulled were hllarious in her search for Mr. Right. I'm sure that most women have been there at some point in their lives, searching endlessly for "Mr. Right" but looking in the wrong places! I highly recommend Mr. Right for the Night for a hoot of laughter!

I picked this up at the airport returning from a trip to Ireland and I laughed all the way home. Anna is an extremely funnyy girl who ends up dating one lunatic after another. I've been there, met those men... brought back a lot of memories!

A huge fan of Irish women writers I got my hands on this book after sampling Marisa's enjoyable story in Irish Girls About Town. Marisa's style is comic - very like Marian Keyes - and the character kind of reminds me when I was looking for a soul mate in all the wrong places. Anna the heroine, was bullied in school and is reluctant to go to the school reunion. Especially since the party (to whom partners are also invited) is being held in Victoria's house. Victoria was the school bully and has married a millionarie. Anna was her victim and although her career is going well she has no man on the horizon. But will she meet Mr Right in time for the party? After all she only needs him for just one night!
A laugh-out-loud comedy

If you enjoy a good laugh and like you books sharp and witty, then Mr Right for the Night is the book for you. I bought it after reading Mackle's excellent short-story in Irish girls about town, a collection of short stories.I could'nt put this down as the story raced along at an upbeat pace and was just full of comic blow after comic blow. There were no boring bits used to pad out this book, every sentence was well thought out and earned its place on the page.Pure enjoyment, you will certainly get your quota of belly laughs.
An extremely funny read!!!

I loved this comic novel by Irish Authour Marisa. Anna, the heroine, was bullied in school by Victoria, the nastiest girl in the class. Now they have all grown up and Victoria is holding a school reunion in her palatial home for all the girls...and their partners. Anna doesn't have a partner but has 3 months to get one for the dreaded reunion night. Well worth reading!!!
