So much fun! Great for kids interested in dinosaurs!

I received this book as a child. I loved dinosaurs and could not get enough about them. This book was exactly what a little kid with some interest in dinosaurs needs. Although it is called "Model a Monster" it really is all about dinosaurs. Some fifteen years later I still remember how to make three different monsters out of tin foil (and I still make them in my kitchen from time to time!). There are so many different projects in this book. Materials vary from tin foil to wood to paper to snow and sand to pipe cleaners to paper mache. Throughout the book there are little caveman cartoon characters that instruct you on how to create the different dinosaurs. These little guys are really cool and a neat addition to the book. Bottom line: this is a "must-own" book for any child with some imagination, creativity, and an interest in dinosaurs.
