Great series! For any age!

When I was a little girl, my Grandfather decided to learn how to read. In my whole life, I have never seen such amazing humbleness and courage. He was 80 years old, and the Mishmash series was one of the first things that he ever read. It was so encouraging to see my Grandpa doing something that he'd never done before. I ended up picking up his old copies and reading them. They were one of my childhood favorites! I'm glad to see them again.

Mishmash

I loved these books when I was a child, and now I am hoping that all the Mishmash Books will be rereleased so I may buy them for my children. They are full of light hearted childhood thoughts and fun, innocence and goofiness. It's too bad that some of the books in the Mishmash series are out of print. These books should sit beside everyone's Beverly Cleary books as another example of good children's literature that tells a fun story to kids, without being stuffy and full of moral indignation over right and wrong.
