Good Wife -- Bad Husband ?

I bought this book because I really like one of the authors and not too familiar with the other. Now as co-authors I'm not sure if one takes the wife's part and the other writes for the husband. Maybe that should be explained. The whole idea is she thinks hubby's dead from plane crash only to meet up with him a year later! He wants a happy reunion without details. She acts head over heels and curious about last year, whereas many wives would be beyond furious! I think the book is slow to start and not up to speed anytime soon. I feel it was a waste of time and not exciting.
