This is a wonderful read and incredibly engaging. It traces the journey of Grace, who suddenly discovers that her mother, Eileen has ovarian cancer. Eileen, a feisty but incredibly lovable character, is determined to live life her own way, even as she deals with this terrifying illness, but Grace, who has issues of her own, feels that she can only handle the situation by completely taking over and organising Eileen's life for her. Incredibly vulnerable but unable to show it, Grace has to learn how to let go of her fears, both about her mother and herself, if she is to help her mother. You really root for this pair as they both find the courage to take this journey together. You'll laugh and cry, but won't be able to put it down!! I bought a copy for my mother and sister as soon as I finished!
