If you've just upgraded to Office 2010, are thinking of doing so, or are new to Office, you'll want to pick up a copy of Office 2010 on Demand. This book visits a nice cross section of Office programs as bundled into the Office 2010 Professional version. As expected, the book covers in depth how to topics about Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The basic workings on how to use these programs, new features available, and a few little tricks that save time and energy while making your work look more professional. After looking at these expected topics, the book then explores the other programs in the suite. I think that many people buy the Office bundle because they need Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook but they don't necessarily plan to use Publisher, OneNote, InfoPath, and SharePoint. In fact, most probably don't know what these programs do. That's really too bad because after reading Office 2010 on Demand, I've come to realize the potential usefulness of these programs.
