He compares the chronology of the Old Testament and its factual content with ancient Egyptian records to show that the major characters of the Hebrew scriptures--including Solomon, David, Moses, and Joshua--are based on Egyptian historical figures. He further suggests that not only were these personalities and the stories associated with them cultivated on the banks of the Nile, but the major tenets of Christian belief--the One God, the Trinity, the hierarchy of heaven, life after death, and the virgin birth--are all Egyptian in origin. He likewise provides a convincing argument that Jesus himself came out of Egypt. With the help of modern archaeological findings, Osman shows that Christianity survived as an Egyptian mystery cult until the fourth century A.D., when the Romans embarked on a mission of suppression and persecution. In A.D. 391 the Roman-appointed Bishop Theophilus led a mob into the Serapeum quarter of Alexandria and burned the Alexandrian library, destroying all records of the true Egyptian roots of Christianity. The Romans' version of Christianity, manufactured to maintain political power, claimed that Christianity originated in Judaea. Great part of a great Series!

This was a great addition to the GTA Franchise, probably the best story Ive seen for all of them and the newer features are great as well.

Handy resource for part-time gamers

This book has been helpful for me so far. I'm not a hardcore gamer, and I wouldn't call myself a casual gamer either, maybe a 'gaming enthusiast'. I also am a father of 3 young children with a career, which means maybe 45-90 minutes of gaming several nights out of the week. Very detailed, informative, and reliable.

This is a real solid guide for GTA 4. The only beef I have with it is that it does not include a checklist that you can use to keep track of your 100% completion goals, but it does tell you what you have to do to get said 100%. This guide is very thick. It has everything about the story line and special items and activities. However, like other guides you have to take it with a grain of salt so to say because the way the writers play the game may be different from the way someone else plays the game.
