Spend your nights in magnificently furnished colonial palaces once built as haciendas for the lords of the countryside; relax in heavenly beach resorts, go kayaking, and watch the whales frolicking;... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I was weary of buying this at first as I suspected it was another book that would feature the same scenes shown in so many other books of this type. Boy was I wrong. This is much closer to "101 beautiful towns"in it's breadth. I think the "28 destinations" threw me. It covers all of Mexico from top to bottom. Many of the beautiful colonial cities are featured as well as some of the more familiar beach areas and ruins. The photography is stunning. It's hard to find a picture that isn't totally awesome. It's the kind of book that really makes you want to buy a case of film and spend the next few years travelling to these locations. There isn't too much text as the photos tell the story. Mexico is a huge and beautiful place and those who have yet to venture beyond the beach areas are in for a wonderful surprise! There is a blurb about most of the locations featuring how to get there, where to stay, what to see, and a link for information. Put your feet up and start planning your next trip!
