Ilustrations as endearing as the text

My kids were enamored with this book the first time I read and it love looking at the cute illustrations. It's a cozy feel book just like being in a diner feels. Makes you appreciate the sipmle pleasures in life.

Not Electronic, But Interactive None -the- less

This is a wonderful book to read with your child. My 2 year old loves to point to the objects as I name them. Then I name the objects and she points to them. She has become very good at remembering them. This is good, because they are everyday things that she will need to know. There are lot's of people to see as well. The illustratins are bright and engaging. I took the book for a weekend visit with other children and it was a big hit. I think that alot of the children there will be receiving this book for the holidays, if not before, because we had to take our copy home.
