Excellent Books!

Keith Baker's wonderful characters are perfect for emerging readers! The kids at my elementary school library LOVE his books and the Greens are always among the most highly-circulated titles. The books are fun to read and the kids love to search the pages for the hidden hearts. I love Mr. and Mrs. Green as much as the kids do!

Love this whole series!

My 4-year-old son and I discovered the Mr. and Mrs. Green books by Keith Baker at our library, and we both love them. Mr. & Mrs. Green and fun & well-created characters. I appreciate the quality & style of the writing, and I commend Mr. Baker for creating characters that show love, appreciation, kindness, & respect without it seeming obvious or fake, like so many of the worthless children's books I find. These books are NOT twaddle, & I highly recommend them!

Beginners chapter books that both girls and boys will love!

These chapter books have been created for ages 4 - 8 by Keith Baker who was an elementary school teacher for 7 years before he started writing books. Mr. and Mrs. Green are two happily married alligators who have many wonderful adventures! There are 3 stories in each book and in this book the stories are: Camping, 100 pancakes and County Fair. The 100 pancake book would be a cute story for the 100 day of school because Mr. Green wants to eat 100 pancakes one day and the does with the help of his wife! What is also cool about the book is that there is math thrown in to the story which is also neat! My daughter enjoys the stories and the illustrations are just too cute! Both boys and girls will fall head over tails in love with Mr. and Mrs. Green! This is the 1st book in this series which includes: Book 2 - More Mr. & Mrs. Green Book 3 - Lucky Days with Mr. & Mrs. Green Book 4 - On the Go with Mr. & Mrs. Green

Wonderful Series

Mr. and Mrs. Green are a delightful series of books. The chapters of this book give many examples of problems and solutions. A great series to follow George and Martha.
