In this new edition of an essential text, diabetes experts define the progressive nature of type 2 diabetes; examine cardiovascular, microvascular, and neurologic complications; describe care methodologies for special situations, such as pregnancy and hospitalization; and illustrate methods of behavior change. This book will enhance your knowledge of type 2 diabetes and bolster your skills in caring for patients with diabetes.
This book covers nearly every aspect of Type 2 DM. From the initial diagnosis, pathology, available medications, and complications, this book has it all. This is an excellent resource for practitioners not only in primary care, but all medical specialties. It is easy to read and each chapter has highlights in the beginning that provide a brief summary of what each section is about. I highly recommend this book to anyone who takes care of diabetic patients.

Now we have lots of medicine to treat diabetes. We also have doctors who give us fifteen minutes of attention. Better to study carefully and see if we are being well treated. Buy your glucometer, check everyday, be careful. This book helps a lot.
