Very deep and still good to read...

Darrel is a old school photographer, about the same age as me...coming from 35mm film...except he is a pro and me a sort of beginner with a D7000 I need help with! His expertice is deep, but covers the basics and then more...but never over your head. Well explained, well written...no funny business but still friendly in all aspects of writing. He goes into ALL parts of the menue and sometimes it gets a bit dry...BUT as he states, its a bomb of a camera....that can do many many things in a heart beat!! All 467 pages are full of info, if you need to go back to check a chapter or a subject...easy done the way its set up. This book really helps me getting into my new/ used D7000. And we are almost neighbors...lol...only 135 Meiles apart...highly recommend this book!!
