Great Starter Frontpage book

This is a great book for people wanting to learn how to use the frontpage 2000 interface. If you are looking for a book on how to use HTML code this is not the book of choice. I skimmed thru the book while building my web site and had a good understanding of the frontpage flow in about a day. This book is a good buy for a rookie frontpage developer.

Best of the Front Page 2000 releases to date

Authors have done their research. The perfect reference guide for the intermediate user. Although this book lacks a detailed troubleshooting guide the authors provide "notes" and "tips" to prevent possible problems. Very well organized.

Best of the 9 Frontpage 98 books I own

Sybex does it again! I have been reading computer books for the last 10 years and Sybex has been a great publisher - putting out excellent books even back in the "Symantec Q & A 4.0 for DOS" days. Unlike what other people have said about the book on this page, the author DOES repeat a lot things in the book, and for good reason - You're trying to learn a new program!!! Believe me, the computer industry spits out books so fast that content is sometimes downright disgusting. After reading 3/4 of the book so far, I know that the publisher and the 2 authors have pride in their product. Its a wonderful book! Plus it gives you little useful tid bits about the world of web publishing.

This is THE book for mastering FrontPage 98!

I skimmed through 4 other books before deciding to buy this book. Every other book seemed like a larger version of the weak documentaion that comes with the software. This book provided the insight on advanced subjects necessary for administering a web. A must buy for FrontPage users.

Mastering FrontPage 98 provides excellent advice on building and running a Web site using FrontPage. The authors describe how to do things clearly and they offer examples and tips that can only come from experience -- I found this book useful and even enjoyable.
