US Open--NYC--Unexpected Experiences from a guide book!
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 25 years ago
On my recent trip to NYC for the US Open, I picked up this guidebook. It didn't inspire me to move to NYC, but it has changed my perception of what life in NYC could be. Several wonderful suggestions from this guide greatly enhanced our short stay in the city. Tips and recipes will make it a useful guide well past my trip. A special foot treatment to mention one of many treats collected. And what a uniquely beautiful book! Altogether soothing. I wish I had one for Dallas! If you plan to visit NYC or most certainly if you live there, even if you aren't into green things, buy this book!

A veritable encyclopedia of useful information that can be immediately applied to create a healthier and more enjoyable lifestyle. I especially loved the delicious, healthy, easy to prepare recipes from some of New York's finest natural food restaurants.

This book is a must read, must have, whether you are a veteren of healthful foods, and functions, or a novice first dipping your toe into the concept of "healthy living", and "healthy life". It is so much more than restaurants, and stores, boutiques, and spas! Bell and Skreczko gently assail the notion that city living, particularly in New York, must be a toxic, unhealthy experience. They supply tips, and honest reactions to the best way to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit. This guide is packed with the whimisical, and unexpected---such as a guide to the waterfalls of NYC. Where to eat, where to shop, where to go for a truly organic pampering experience---it's all here. Don't move to New York without it! And if you're already there, read it, then live it.
