Mike Wohnoutkaas vibrant, sun-splashed paintings capture the exuberance and can-do spirit of Marjorie Blain Parkeras rhythmic read-aloud.
We have so much fun reading this book with our 3 year old. It's very interactive because parts are repetitive (in a good way) and, when the story talks about Mama Duckling loving her little one from the "top of his downy head to the bottom of his webby feet", we always tickle our son's head and toes. It's a sweet story and it makes a great baby shower gift too (just get a little rubber ducky to go with it and your set)!
